About Me

Shayna is the creator of this blog, Cofounder of NuMundo, writer, singer, dancer, lyricist, event producer, facilitator, Dream Activator, digital marketing and crowdfunding consultant and life-long earth and community-steward.

Mission

While Shayna has manifested many of her own visions and dreams, her mission is to guide others in activating theirs. Through her experience and watching her peers dive fully into their purpose and unfolding all of the magnificence that life can be, she knows that we have infinite potential for what we can accomplish to transform the planet.

Most transformational travel experience

Taking 2 buses and 23 earth warriors on a 4 month permaculture adventure through Central America was not only my first independent travel (without parents) out of the country of my life but also the biggest growing experience of my life. For an abundance of reasons, my leadership skills were challenged to the core, forcing me to problem solve quickly, listen compassionately and most of all act and live in integrity with our highest collective vision. During this and my continued travels through South America, witnessing and immersing myself in indigenous culture brought me to great humility and appreciation for the deepness of wisdom I could feel simply through their smiles, colorful expression and genuine glares. I am forever moved and transformed by the opportunity to fall in the flow, feel community everywhere, enrich myself with culture and dig my hands deep into our mother earth.

My Mantra

The more you understand, the less you know.

The Reality of Intentional Community Living

By: Sky Blue Living in an intentional community is one of hardest things you can do. Why? Well, despite our social nature we’ve managed to create a hyper-individualized society. I Took 1-Month Digital and Social Detox: Here’s What I Learned

Organizing, traveling, spreadsheets, marketing, crunching, late nights, eyes glued to the screen. Skype calls, workshops, agreements, networking promoting and speaking. Does this sound familiar to you? This has been my life for the past 3 years. Although my work has been deeply fulfilling and amazing it’s also been deeply exhausting. I’m working toward social and […]
